Splash an Ocean Grill, Lutz

We were there for Brunch this past Sunday and got there about 20 minutes before you opened (right after church) and the server saw us outside and invited us to come in anyway. The food was delicious and we have already recommended it to some of our friends.

We are always treated to the best of service and the best fish and pasta anywhere. Your quality is outstanding. Our family either has been or still is in the restaurant or food preparation industry and so we try to find the best available product and service. Your establishment gives us that.

Splash! is our neighborhood restaurant and we are regulars who enjoy their exceptionally high quality, well-prepared and delicious food, a thoughtful menu, well-trained professional staff and owners onsite overseeing the operation. What s not to like? Don t change a thing and as far as Scampi Mondays & Shrimp Tacos Tuesdays, people are crazy not to take advantage of these exceptional meals at such a low price.

We enjoy the same quality food and service consistently wether we have lunch or dinner...and the decor and atmosphere is very much to our liking. We spend summers traveling in our motor coach and winters in Lutz. Splash is one of our top five favorites. They re doing a great job and we appreciate it!

While I have enjoyed many meals at your fine restaurant, the ads you have been running on Fox for the past 6 mos?, 12 mos? 18 mos? have become so repetetitous and thus nauseating that I have lost my desire to resturn. At least spend a few $s and change the two patrons that consider your steak Oscar to die for and maybe get another of your many fine entrees instead

I can t believe the negative comments. My husband and I have eaten there MANY times this past year and the food has always been magnificant - the service, also.

Our family went for the first time last night. I was shocked at the poor quality of food. I had to cut my fried shrimp with a knife. I found the prices were at least double that of Red Lobster and then they charged an 18% gratuity on the bill. My daughter (10)ordered the chicken from the kids menu and she said that it tasted terrible. For the four of us to eat (2 adults and 2 kids) the bill was about $15 each (would have been $20), except we had an gift card for $20. I can think of a lot of places that serve much better food for that price.

On 16 July we visited Splash to sample their Thai food specials. The only item Thai on my girlfriend's plate was the sauce. Not very appetizing. My meal was below average, at best. Marinated pan-seared scallops(3) and shrimp(3) were overcooked, smallish, and looked lost on top of the risotto.. The bed of risotto was a clump of starchy, stuck together rice without taste and haphazardly put together. A meal for $20 should look good, taste great and be enjoyed. My two bottles of Spaten-Bier were excellent. To be recognized as a top flite seafood restaurant, presentation and quality as well as quantity of ingredients need to improve. Overall, the $67 meals plus tip for two was a disappointment.
