Guanabanas Restaurant, Jupiter

Myself and husband went to Guanabanas this past weekend for lunch ,we live in Jupiter and have heard about this place for some time now , it was great ! I had a salad with dolphin and my husband had a the lemon butter fish , it was amazing , both were ! e had to wait for a table at lunch which I thought was odd , but the place was packed full of people once we finally got a table everything was really good, food came out pretty quick and our server was very nice , the atmosphere i cant even discribe i give this place a 10 and have been telling everyone i know to check it out .

I live in Broward but love to investigate my State. Came upon this place purely by accident and took a chance...it looked intriguing from the street and was bustling. Lovely October afternoon...had to wait about 1/2 hr for a table, but enjoyed a delicious glass of sangria and relaxed in the Adirondack chairs facing the water, listed to music and the happy voices of all who were there. The place transports you to Key West or the Islands...the food was excellent-fresh and hot...the service was fast, friendly and accommodating. Everyone there was enjoying themselves-the perfect Florida spot for a Saturday afternoon. People of all ages, kids, etc. It was just what I needed after a rough week at work. Worth the drive. If you want a fast table-go to Denny's. This place is worth the wait.

WENT TO EAT BREAKFAST HAD TO WAIT 35 MINUTES ALTHOUGH THERE WERE PLENTLY OF TABLES AVAILABLE AND ONLY ABOUT 20 TABLES SEATED WITH CUSTOMERS ..WHEN I ASKED WHY NOT SEAT US BECAUSE YOU HAVE PLENTLY OF TABLES AVAILABLE THE MANAGER STATED "OUR KITCHEN CANT HANDLE THAT MANY TABLES" YOU NEED TO WAIT! I GIVE YOU A ZERO NO STAR . DONT BOTHER GOING

This is my favorite place to eat. I fly 3 hours and drive 2 solely to eat here...Mmm..The atmosphere is so perfect! You wouldn't think that street had an intercoastal view but it does and grass huts, steel drums, misting fans all allow you an exotic escape. I love the tequila lime chicken and the chicken tacos. Went twice for lunch though in the span of a week, last week to be exact, and the tequila chicken went up from $13 to $17. dollars. A bit too high for lunch. Worth it at $13, before the increase though!

We had lunch at this beautiful place last week. I have read some of the past reviews from quite some time ago and would say this restaurant must have read them also. The food, service, parking folks, were all excellent. Our waitress couldn't have been more prompt, and friendly. The food was also good. My wife had a salad with grilled Snapper and I had the Cuban. The food was delivered quickly and our refreshments were refilled without even having to ask. The place is like a tropical paradise and a great place to relax and enjoy with friends and family.

awesome food, awesome drinks, great service, and for the guy about the deserts up there..well there supposed to be cold buddy..great place to go with friends, family, to just have some drinks or have a fabulous meal and u can come on boat:))

Husband and I went with another couple and I gotta say that I love this place. I read a lot of reviews on the computer but I think that the place has everything all worked out now. The service, drinks, food and atmosphere was so fantastic and we can't wait to go again.... Totally recommend this place to my friends..

Beautiful location. Below par service and food quality. Would not go back. Too bad. The place could have been great.

Gorgeous place to stop in for a drink; ate there 2x and the food is mediocre at best. I just can't recommend eating there until things improve; but I honestly have to say it is one of the most beautiful locations I have ever seen.

Beautiful view, but the service is terrible and slow, and the parking attendants are horrible (impatient and with an attitude). The view is gorgeous, food is just ok. Be prepared to wait forever to be served at the table, they take a long time, get the order wrong, or forget to come back with whatever you asked for (like lemons). I give the extra star for the ambiance and view, otherwise this would be a one star rating. Forgettable...
