Three times my husband and I ate hear and complained about too much salt. Each time they said they had thhis comment on their computer and yet everytime I asked for NO salt, the dishes were VERY salty. I would not go back again.
My husband and I ate at Cafe Boulud for our wedding anniversary. As soon as we walked in we were given wonderful service as the maitre'd greeted us and congratulated us on this special night. We were given a beautiful table in the very back near the window. Perfect for a quiet dinner. The food was AMAZING! I have eaten at Cafe Boulud, DB Bistro, and Daniel in New York as well as DB Brasserie in Las Vegas and this food was just as good as any of them! Our waiter was extremely knowledgable and friendly. The wine list is extensive but not overwhelming and the sommelier was very helpful in making our selections. If you go, make sure to save room for dessert as the upside down chocolate souffle is delectable as well as the seasonal options available. For our anniversary they added a candle in our desserts and wrote Happy Anniversary in chocolate sauce. ( a very classy touch in my opinion) The warm ambience of the dining room was cozy and romantic without being as stuffy as other high-end restaurants. Overall our night was perfect. The prices are extremely reasonable for food of such caliber. You won't find anything else this good on the island or off. I highly recommend it.
