My wife and I decided to try Jesse s again. What a mistake. We waited at the bar to have a beer and talk while we were waiting for a table. About 15 minutes later we left. There was not a booth available and Like Advertised, All drinks 2 for 1 At least NOT Beer.
WOW! We were very hesitant to stop in and eat here. The reviews were kinda midway....a few not so good at all. But, our experience was quite the opposite. We had absolutely fantastic service; the food was delicious.
I had prime rib; my husband had sirloin. Both were cooked perfect.
I am so glad we gave you a chance; we will definitely be back.
I recently went to Jesse s. Can t figure out the words to describe such a horrible place with such horrible managment. This is truly a place thats ran with then same customers daily because I can t see someone in their right mind wanting to go there. I ordered a martini and as i was taking a sip I found 3 bugs floating in my drink. When i told the manager, his response was Did you go outside? Not an apology for giving me a drink with bugs, but instead a way to take blame off himself. I was disgusted not only by the bugs, but also his attitude. When I recieved my steak, it had to have been the worst tasting steak EVER! It was so tough, tasted old, as if it had been frozen, so far from being fresh. I canceled the food, the manager then told me You didn t think about canceling it before it came out? Never have I felt so disrespected in a restaurant, nevertheless so humiliated. I wouldn t recomment this place to anyone. They honestly can careless about bringing in new clientele, the manager is so inappropriate, and what makes it worse is it s family owned so his attitude will not be corrected. There was 7 of us that night, and not one person was satified with their food. You re better off at Applebees.
the food has been disappointing recently and the service has been horrible. i'm sad to say i won't be going back anytime soon. i find this sad, as it used to be one of my favorite places. On our last visit, my wife's prime rib was terrible, my delmonica improperly prepared and the service was borderline at best. The visit prior to that the server as snide and annoying. oh well, time to find another place for a good steak.
I have been eating at Jesse's for 5 years, and I order the prime rib most of the time. Maybe twice in all the times I was served a stake that was border line with other stake houses. All the rest were great. I just have one thing to say stomach pains and diarrhea should be treated at a hospital and not by a lady manager. Janice needs to think about it!!!!!!
We have been eating at Jesse's for close to 2 years. We live in Palmetto. On January 17th 4 of us ate there on a sunday. We all ordered prime rib, which we always get. After midnight my husband and our friends wife got stomach pains and diarrah. They suffered for 2 days.I called and talked to a lady manager, she said it probably was the rub they use, why in past hasn't this happened to them. She said she would tell the owner, we have neverbeen contacted.
I get to eat there once a year while I am in Tampa for a trade show. We live in Illinois and will be vacationing in the Keys in March but are spending a day in Brandon just so we can eat at Jesse's. I love this place. I wish they would open one here in the Chicago area.
