This was the best Birthday dinner experience that my wife has had in her 71 years. Reservations and Wait Staff were very friendly and attentive and made our dinner for eight a memorable experience. We enjoyed a special coupon offer for five courses including a bottle of wine for each couple at our private table. Dinner was great food and much fun. The birthday card and group photo they provided was a very pleasant surprise. A five star experience for the Management and Wait Staff. We'll be back!
This is my absolutely favorite restaurant! I fell in love with The Melting Pot in Texas and was over joyed to find one in Boca. If you have not discovered this restaurant, you must try it. You will need at least 90 minutes and 2 hours is best. Save room for the best part, the dessert! It has everything, great food, great atmosphere, and great service.
This resturaunt I would rate a 10 +. From the moment we called for reservations to the second we left we were treated like royalty. Every employee was excited that you were there and the made every effort to make our dessert dining the best it could ever be. # 1 for flavor but above all CUSTOMER SERVICE.
FUN! Romantic! Food is tasty. Dessert really enhances the experience. Might even go there just for dessert. A great way to celebrate with that special person. Wine list is incredilby extensive. Yes, the dinner experience takes time, but that is what fondue is all about. Definitely will return.
I love going here. This is the only place I can take my family and not have them wolf down the food and then race out of the place. Here we can talk and eat and catch up on life. The food is always outta this world. I love the Cheese fondue the most! I could eat two or three bowls of it. Very yummy, plus we have yet to have any bad experience there. Only thing I would like to see is a bit more lighting. Just a tad too dark in the evening fore reading a menu.
I am giving this a 3 because I was non-too-thrilled with the food. I personally don't like my beef cooked in liquid. Whoever heard of a boiled steak? YUCK! I think if I had gotten an all seafood platter, I would be a little happier with the food. I had the 3 course meal - app, main, dessert. the App was fantastic. Loved the cheese. The dessert offerings were good as well.
Yes, it's fondue and it can be fun (and romantic) but be ready to smell like a greasepit when you leave! Your clothes, your hair - everything you leave there with will smell as if you've been working at the local burger joint as a frycook.
Don't forget that you are paying good money (lots of it) to cook your own food! Where's the value in that? You may as well stay home and have your fondue there.
The service is not bad though, so that's a plus and the ambiance is ok - the smell of oil wafting in the air can be a bit of a mood-kill for some, though.
It's a fun, unique experience for someone who has never had fondue. I'd recommend it for a one-time thing but not as a regular dining spot (it's pricey).
It's no wonder that reservations are hard to come by at this restaurant. From the moment you arrive you can't help but relax. Tucked into a nicely landscaped area of Boca, the place has the most friendly staff, wonderful menu, & great food. Plan to spend at least 2 hours or more wining and dining in the coziest of atmospheres. Who knew Fondue could be so fun! I suggest going for the full four course meal to get the most from your experience. It is the best on the menu. From appetizer to dessert you're covered. Well worth spending on, you won't be dissapointed. My favorite is the tiger shrimp and lobster tail, oh, and the terriaki beef,,,,how could you choose only one! Dessert is to die for. I won't say anymore. You need to see for yourselves!
