My family really enjoys this Mamma Mia restaurant immensely. Whenever we get visitors from Philly or New York, we almost always have at least one dinner at Mamma Mia.
Their portions are generous, the prices are appropriate, and the food is excellent! If you have room after your meal, be sure to finish it off with a nice hunk of their extremely delicate and fresh tiramisu. If you don't have room then take a piece home with you.
Now, having said all that, I must admit that their pizzas leave a little to be desired. The crust is a little too chewy, their sausage is just sliced sausage instead of crumbled, and their pizzas are a little oily.
If you grew up anywhere near Philadelphia or New York then don't expect any pizza in south Florida to match the wonderful pies of the northeast. I think the pizza difficulty for south Floridians lies with the mean temperature of the water, and how the warmer water temperatures affect the pizza dough. Coincidentally, I encountered this same problem in Monterey, California.
