Friendly Greek Restaurant, Lantana

My husband and I have eaten here at least 3 times per month for the last few years and have never had a bad meal or poor service. All the food is made fresh, nothing canned or jarred. The Greek specialities are excellent as are the Italian entrees. Everything is made to order and we have never had a complaint. The fact that the food prices are soooo reasonable makes this restaurant the toast of the town!! Try it. You'll like it!

Went in an ordered lunch to go...verified with waitress exactly what I wanted, confirmed. Got all the way home and the order was wrong. The gyro meat was very dry and looked very old. Called and spoke with the manager and she interrupted me everytime I would try to explain. She was very rude and the fact that I go there every week and get the same thing should be good enough for her to let me at least talk. At the end of the conversation I pretty much had to yell over this loud and rude woman just to be heard. She didn't take any ownership of the mistake and I ended up telling her that she lost a customer...NEVER will I go into that place again!!!

I went here over the weekend b/c my friend lives in the neighborhood. My friend had an excellent omelette that was huge. I had the gyro platter b/c I saw it being sliced fresh right there (which you never see here in FL) It was awesome, the white sauce was amazing and the Greek salad dressing was among the best I've ever had, even asked if I could buy some to take home. I would definitely go back.

i love the Friendly Greek Restaurant. their gyro is awesome!!! i'm from new york, so i've been to alot of greek restaurants, but most of the places down here in florida aren't that great; but the Friendly Greek is one of the exceptions. Everyone is friendly, and the environment is very nice. their service is fast, they served us in less than twenty minutes. i totally recommend it!!!

I love The Friendly Greek. They have great food and good service. I enjoy breakfast or lunch 3 or 4 times a week. I recomend you go and enjoy the newly remodeled restaurant.

I ate there a few days ago, I liked the food, and it was nicely cooked, the gyro was very fresh and very tasty. The gyro and salad they served was the best I've ever had. The family platter was great, and it was served in less than fifteen minutes. I am going to go there tomorrow and bringing my Grandma and Grandpa there. The owner is very nice and the workers is very friendly. I give them a five out of five.

Poor service. 45 min wait for 2 gyros. no explantation given, only belated apology after advised was not happy at all. only 3 other parties in the restaurant the whole time,& one came in 15min after us & was served before. no restitution offered. first & last time will ever patronize.
