Brooks, Deerfield Beach

After numerous visits over the 20 plus years we have been in Boca Raton, we and the two other couples celebrating Valentine's Day were very disappointed with the tight seating, poor service (wrong drinks-twice, terrible escargot dish, cold food and being rushed in eating our courses). One of our guests had held a birthday party there three years ago with 40 guests (including us). Everything went well that evening, but Valentine's Day last week was pretty bad. We might try again in another three years, but not likely any sooner.

The food was excellent - the service par excellence. The only thing I think would improve the place is to use round tables instead of square and maybe remove a few to allow a better seating arrangement. During the Season, if necessary, they could be put back. For a memorable experience try the shrimp and scallops served over rissoto and don't forget the hot chocolate mousse

This place is horrible, took my family for dinner and found the service to be really bad. waited 30 minutes after my reservation time to be seated. the food was mediocre at best. i would never set foot in that establishment again.

Horrible food! I attended a private lunch from a local organization and the food couldn't be worse. A salty Lobster bisque that we had to return. A salmon that had no taste and in this case no salt! To make matters worse, they run out of desserts, so three of us had to share the last available one ! Will never go back to this place for sure !

This place has gone down the toilet. Horrible service, tight seating and food not prepared as ordered. A total rip off now!!!! The attitude of thw wait staff is that they are doing you a favor. The management is snooty.

Service was terrible. Rushed us through our meal even though we requested that we were not in a hurry.. Entree's arrived before we had 3 sips of our cocktails. Ordered Pinot Noir. Poured Chardonnay then Shiraz finally when reminded Pinot Noir. Asked for mint jelly with our lamb dish, was served another sauce but no mint jelly. Kept trying to remove our plates without asking if we were finished. Coffee cups arrived then waited 5 to 10 minutes before coffee arrived.

service was very slow. The menu has changed to cater to steak lovers. The old menu was great and a greater variety of food selections.It wal not limited to just steak and fish.The escaragots were terrible unless you liked a lot of bread crumbs.The lobster was tough.I will not go back unless they go back to the old menu.

Excellent cuisine - especially recomment the pan roasted sea bass.
Lovely ambiance, courteous service, and they do parties very nicely.
