Peter Pan Diner, Oakland Park

Three of us were very disappointed in this restaurant.Two of us ordered corn beef and cabbage and the other ordered openface hot roast beef sandwitch with gravy. The waiter wanted to know if we wanted mashed potatoes with our dinner???? We told him how corn beef and cabbage comes with broth and we told him to go to the kitchen and see how they made it. Maybe... we thought they made it different than what we were used to. He came back and told us the potatoes were whole with carrots, celery, hunk of cabbage and corn beef with broth. When served, our corn beef and cabbage didn t have any broth on it.. it was dry.... he went to the kitchen and brought back beef gravy instead of broth... After he went to kitchen again and returned he had a cup of broth for us. The hot open faced roast beef sandwich was wrong because they served a coldcut roast beef sandwich with lettuce and tomato???? The waiter again went to the kitchen and returned a lot later with the openface hot beef sandwich.... after eating some of the sandwich, she found out that the beef was practically raw... then covered with gravy... We decided to just pack up our food up in a takeout box and cook it up at home and to tell the manager the problem we had for future patrons... The woman that was at the register said she was the manager in charge and she began fighting with on of us.... (an 86 year old woman) that we should have sent the food back... if we didn t like it why were we taking it home. We tried nicely to tell her that all we wanted her to do was to tell the cook so that he would pay attention and serve the food better for other patrons... She was very loud and wouldn t let us say what we intended to say. She could have just appoligized and say that the cook would be more careful from then on.... we didn t ask for anything like money back or free food... we just wanted her to know about the poor service and food.

This place has the best cheeseburgers in town, but my favorite is their breakfast specially their french toast is to die for. I always ask for sheila ( a great waitress) and she makes sure we have a great dining experienced. I always recommend and bring my friends to this Restaurant.

Ordered To Go. Fine. Minus her. Sat at the counter and placed my bit to go. All fine. Massive selfish hubris c..t comes into play. Guess she is bangin the owner. So under educated and sad......And none of it had to do with food or service..... She got under attention from some fool paying. Ugh strip clubs are still looking even in this economy for dumb whores.

This restaurant is a joke. I thought I was on candid camera because the service I received was a joke. The waitress who served me got my order wrong. I told the manager who just grinned and didn't apologize on behalf of her staff. The servers were talking, talking, and talking away. I would of had better service in Denny's than this place.

I usually stop by after late nights out and I will tell you that for the price and the variety on the menu, you can't go wrong. The sirloin steak and eggs hits the spot before going to bed :-)

If you read my reviews, i am up and down the east coast. I will always come to Peter Pan when I an FTL. I usually land in MIA, but will drive the hour to visit Peter Pan. Great food, fresh. Diner service is what to be expected. Love it...Gyro or Chicken French(ask for extra lemon)..A++++. Black Forrect cake made on premise for under $5. GREAT!!!

I am a student and it hard to find a good late night eatery. The hours of operation are 24hrs - 7aays a week. They have a wide verity of food. From burgers to healthy salads. The service was friendly, fast and clean. I plan to revisit this place over and over.

Full bar, extensive (but not expensive) menu featuring Greek specialties, 24 hour service, and a very friendly wait staff make this a great place to start an evening out or grab some food after a night of clubbing. I've been there several times and they're always very TG friendly - Billy, the manager, will usually make a point of dropping by the table to see how all the girls are doing. It's the little touches, the extra service, the smiling staff that bring me back - and the best part is they're always open!! Check out the *awesome* neon sign and see if YOU can figure out why it's been a Fort Lauderdale icon since I can remember in the early 70's!!
