The staff is not knowledgeable about the cheeses they sell; that includes the manager. Additionally, the manager of the Boca Mizner store (Dennis) is extremely rude and lazy. Please be mindful the rudeness of the staff has nothing to do with the French, the owner is Mexican and the staff is all American and have never heard a French word, not even the name of their cheeses. Sandwiches are so so (not really French at all)... the menu looks nicer than it tastes (that is because you are using your imagination when you are hungry and ordering)...the wine selection is ok... you can definitely find better cheeses and wine elsewhere for less expensive.
Sadly, I'd have to agree with the last two reviews. Food is good not great and the staff is extremely crude. The owner is taking that place into the ground as she's the first person to have a stern look on her face that seems to yell I couldn't care less if you eat here or not. (just my 2 cents)
Food is good and over priced. There is a need for other places where the employees are not so rude, they have an attitude problem - need to remember that the most important thing is to keep the costumer satisfy. I used to love the place and taking costumers, friends and family, but the attitude complete change my idea of a good place.
I live 30 minutes from the Cheese Course, but I love to drive to this excellent place, because has everything delicious, not only the cheeses, the wine, prosciutto and pate. The people of the staff are lovely. I recomend this place to enjoy a great gourmet moment.
If you like cheese, you'll love this place. Everything and I mean everything here is delicious! The staff are very knowlegeable and have never steered me wrong. The selection of cheeses is unmatched. If you enjoy something a with a bit sharp, try the prima donna...its amazing. The sandwiches are perfect pairings and the salads are excellent. My only complaint is that this is the only one in the area!!!
