Emerald Thai Restaurant
This is a pleasant little restaurant, popular for its family-style ambiance and its lengthy menu. Selections are fresh-tasting and well-spiced. Prices are quite reasonable and most entrees are best enjoyed between two or more people. The atmosphere is cozy, with Thai tchochkes on the walls. Try any of the curries and you won't be disappointed, but green curry with seafood is particularly delicious. Choose from a number of noodle dishes, the classic Pad Thai being one of the best. Spring rolls make an excellent starter.
Emerald Thai is extremely cozy and the food is delicious. I've had the red curry which is full of flavor and has just the right amount of spice. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. I have visited the restaurant on three different occasions and enjoyed it each and every time. Definitely a place to try.
I visited this place after reading the other 2 reviews here and this is the best Thai good I have ever had! They make it spicy according to your taste and the service is good. This place is completely hidden so I'd suggest calling ahead to get specific directions. We wound up in the plaza across the street expecting it to be there! Its not really cheap but I wouldn't call it expensive either. You can find a lot of stuff under $20 easily and believe me the food is completely worth it!
For the area, it's one of the better Thai restaurants.

The food is good. The service is slow. They really need to hire more people.
This is not New York but for the area, it's one of the better Thai restuarants. They do need to go back to serving in deeper dishes. Food is served on plates that don't catch much gravy.
I LOVE this place. I used to live in the area, and we would go at least once weekly. And, I know my old coworkers go there often and always bring new people with them...who love it equally as much! The staff is friendly and reminder their frequent customers by name. Since I have moved, NOTHING has compared to their quality of food and every time I come to visit, dinner at Emerald Thai is a must before I leave. The lunch buffet is also a fabulous deal!!!
