This is a south Florida - Ft. Lauderdale landmark restaurant. The food: AMAZING! The prices: MORE than reasonable. Food portions: GIANT size - you ll have enough for another meal. The service: EXCELLENT! The entertainment: FANTASTIC! I can t say enough about this place. I ve been going here for years and this establishment has one goal: To make every one of their customers happy. A GREAT place for a very enjoyable evening. I had the egg plant parm and the white pizza appetizer (which I think is new). My friend had the Chicken Remo ... Everything was (and is always) EXCELLENT!
We ate here at a recommendation from a local. It was fantastic.
You could wear jeans and nice tops or dress up a little.
There are outside tables on the second floor.
They have entertainment most nights of the week on their upstairs level.
The garlic bread was buttery garlic, so watch out. We found it yummy. We shared the stuffed pepper appetizer, which was a nice big red pepper filled with sausage, beef, and creole rice topped with cheese and sauce. Oh, the sauce, it was so good. I had eggplant parm and enjoyed the way it was prepared; layered lasagna style topped with sauce and cheese. My husband had the Veal Paradise, which was fabulous also. We are normally disappointed by veal, but this was cooked perfectly. I was impressed by their homemade dessert- tiramisu. The wine list had a nice variety also.
They also had pizza and subs, which I saw go by our table and it looked delicious.
You better come hungry though, the portions are generous.
If you plan on having a nice dinner that won't break your bank, go here.
You will not be disappointed.
