Went to the Sea Watch for my One year anniversary dinner while on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale.... I was a little worried after reading some reviews that it would be a horrible experience and Im glad that this proved to be wrong! We LOVED our waiter and the food... yes it is slightly pricey but it was the best meal we had our entire vacation! ... would I eat here again... YESSSS!
I just left there, res. was horrible I live across the street. Management sucked did nothing to avail. But Arubas was great. Thank you for nothing I ll NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Be sure to tell all my friends. Sea ranch
we just left sea watch about 10 min ago the food was good but a little skimpy, two small slices of bread small piece of salmon, tasted good but not enough to fill you. they have destroyed one of the coolest places with these new renovations, we have going to sea watch for more than 20 years and also taking our out of town guests there, now we will have to find a new place. so sorry to see a great place go.
I had Mother's Day dinner with my family at the Seawatch, our table had a wonderful view and the service was great, HOWEVER there were 7 of us and we spent over $500.00 The portions were so skimmpy, I got two bites out of my filet and the fish dishes were so small. I have sent two e-mails to them and have not heard one word. You should have kept the place the same rustic look. I have to say I was very disapointed. One of your customers that was leaving when we arrived said she was also disapointed and said she wil never return.
My family and friends have dined at Seawatch several times now and it's always the same; great food and excellent service. The waitstaff is personable, drinks really good and we have never been disappointed with the moderately priced menu. Six stars in my book!
Our family has been going to the Sea Watch for years for holidays, Mother's Day, etc. Mym parents like the food, although I have alwasy found it to be just average. Tonight, we were in with some family from out of town. We had a waitress who was patently phony and unfriendly. During our salad course, one of our guest pointed out a VERY LARGE COCKROACH behind our table a walking across the entry to he dining room. We notified our waitress and a few other members of the staff, but no one did anything but look at it. It eventully ran into the cracks in the wall.
Now, we did not expect anything for free, howver I DID expect a visit from the manager with an apology-or perhaps from our waitress. But no at all acknowledged the fact that this even happened.
To top it all off, the waitress WROTE IN THE TIP on my credit card reciept.
I will not reccomend this restautant to anyone again and will make sure they know of our experience. I think the Sea Watch has been resting on it laurels to long and needs a wake up call.
