Like the previous review from "George" posted in June 2011. It is now feb 2012 and we must ditto all of his disappointments and add rude management. We are long time residents who live and own on the beach and frequent fine diners. The view is still beautiful. Maybe this is a great place for a drink but it not what it used to be. This will be our last time here and we will be sure to tell all of our friends.

we just left sea watch about 10 min ago the food was good but a little skimpy, two small slices of bread small piece of salmon, tasted good but not enough to fill you. they have destroyed one of the coolest places with these new renovations, we have going to sea watch for more than 20 years and also taking our out of town guests there, now we will have to find a new place. so sorry to see a great place go.

I had Mother's Day dinner with my family at the Seawatch, our table had a wonderful view and the service was great, HOWEVER there were 7 of us and we spent over $500.00 The portions were so skimmpy, I got two bites out of my filet and the fish dishes were so small. I have sent two e-mails to them and have not heard one word. You should have kept the place the same rustic look. I have to say I was very disapointed. One of your customers that was leaving when we arrived said she was also disapointed and said she wil never return.

After 30 years of being loyal weekly Sea Watch "regulars" we are so saddened by the drastic changes. A well drink at lunch is now almost $10. The lunch prices are considerably higher and portions, considerably smaller. Dinner favorites, i.e. stuffed sole, are no longer on the menu. We love the staff but consider the renovations "awful". Bring back the old menu and reasonable drink prices, please.

12/15/10- A total RIP-OFF! you don't even get bread. Everything is a la carte. We had been going to Sea Watch for 30 years, never again. Don't waste your money here.

Sea Watch has for the last 15 years been our favorite dining spot when we are in the Ft. Lauderdale area. You always got got a wonderful meal at a great value. Bread, salad, sides all were included in the price. The place was always packed because of the great food and reasonable prices. Their Boulliabaise was always my favorite, it came in a metal pot that held several helpings. We were never disappointed in our meals. We went back last Saturday and couldn't believe the changes. Everything was "ala carte". Even the bread was extra. My wife's Filet was still good ( not great ) and their wonderful fish stew was both downsized to a single medium bowl and the recipe was different. I'm sure some marketing genius and the economy are at fault for this change. I just hope they can keep their clients. Unfortunately they've lost this one

Took a friend who had never been here. We both had the fish and chips which we both agreed were better than either of us had eaten in a long time. The portions were generous, yes, but the flavor was what stood out. It's season and the Friday before Super Bowl so the place was packed. The servers are on top of their game. It's a great rustic location with wonderful natural water views. The perfect lunch spot.
