Il Mulino, Fort Lauderdale

This is pedestrian italian food. The sauce is not very good, which of course impacts many dishes. I tried their "signature" eggplant parm and I wasn't particularly impressed. With Cafe Vico a short jaunt away is makes no sense to come here.

Good Italian..Not wow though. Prices are high in the 15.-20. range

Il Mulino is the best Italian i've ever had. The super garlicy garlic rolls, the homemade pasta...the food is always top-notch. And the price is right. The only bad thing about il Mulino is that there can be a bit of a wait at dinner time, but it's so worth it! So if anyone tells you: "such and such is the best italian food in broward," don't believe them-it's Il Mulino!

Good fare. Well worth the money

I've been going to this place for years and years. I've lived in New York and now Orlando and this is my number one reason for missing home. I have yet been able to find a place that is half as good as this one. Everytime I go out for Italian, I always leave with the same thought "It's no Il Mulino." Never had a bad meal. The staff is very friendly, the prices are great and they make the best baked penne in the world. Puts NY to shame. I really wish there was more of these around.

Creative Mediterranean style cuisine at affordable prices. Congenial staff with good recommendations. Excellent wine by the glass choices. Adjacent to Gateway movie theatre.

Crowded for good reason- reliable and busy place which deserves its popularity.
