My wife and i and another couple who visiting from another state wanted a fine dining experience and definitely got it. Reservation was for 6:30 and we were seated immediately along the water outside. Our server and waitress couldn t have been better. Service was great. The entree s we all had were excellent. All were different. We lingered over cocktails until and were never hurried. This was our 2nd time here and visitors 1st. We will all be back when they visit again. My wife and i will be back sooner.

The 4th time is the charm or perhaps curse is a better word to describe the horrible experience we had on Saturday night. Despite good food, the service has always been slow and most irritatingly, they never seem to have the table ready at the scheduled reservation time. After the last time, my husband said he would never go back but some friends really wanted to go back so a reservation was made for an outside table at 8pm on Saturday night. It was confirmed by the restaurant at noon that day but when we walked in at 8pm, they didn't have the reservation. We almost walked out but they assured us they would sit us immediately after the girl with whom the reservation was made said she remembered taking the reservation and confirming it. At 8:40, we were still waiting for a table when they seated another party of six ahead of us and that was the straw that broke the camel's back and we left. What a waste of an evening and we will never go back. Restaurants if they take reservations should have a system that makes sure their customers are seated at or close to the time of the reservation. No restaurant is worth being aggravated for .....especially 4 times in a row.

The Blue Moon has possibly the best seafood in Fort Lauderdale. The refined atmosphere and the pleasent location on the intercostal add to the ambiance of the dining experience. It was a pleasure to dine there, however, the prices are outrageous. This is not a place for a inexpensive quick dinner, but rather a dignified and delicious night out.

The seafood is excellent. The Sunday Brunch is superb. It is all-you-can eat so you can sample all of the dozen or so entrees. The brunch also features an omelette bar, seafood bar, salad bar, pastries, breads, bagels, and desserts. The dinner selection is excellent. The restaurant sits right on the intracoastal, which makes for romantic outdoor seating. For those with boats, there is also dockside parking. Pros: excellent food and excellent service Cons: a little on the pricey side, but well worth it
