Sushi-One, Fort Lauderdale

I WENT THERE LAST WEEK. GOOD PRICE,GOOD DISHES,FRESH FISH,,,,. VERY NICE,REAL JAPANESE OWNED TAKEOUT RESTAURANT.

Tired of cold, tasteless, clumpy rice, and dubious fish, I've been looking for this place for a long time. Sushi-One has perfect rice, soft, sticky, fluffy, and very fresh fish. It's as much in the texture as it is in the flavor. Japanese family owned and operated, it's for the most part a small take-out joint, so don't expect atmosphere. They prepare the food right in front of you, and with exquisite care (you'd be amazed how much saran wrap they go through to avoid contamination). They do one thing and they do it right. The menu covers the basics, and they always have specials. I tried the uni (sea urchin) yesterday, and it was amazingly fresh, which is indeed rare. Bye bye sushi-Thai. Hello Sushi-One.

My new favorite Sushi spot.Best in Town! Fish is fresh and the price is unbeatable. Its usually very busy so call ahead, and seating is limited.

ok, do you remember back in collage that hole in the wall joint EVERYONE ate from? This is that place. Absolutly tiny, I dont suggest this place because of the candlelight seating - i DO suggest this place and give it 5 stars for 2 different reasons - the food is perfect - fresh and exactly the standard shusi everyone is used to - nothing fancy or unusual - its take out in its finest form. The second reason is the price. Every time eat there i feel like i walk out with my dollars worth of fresh fish and rice. There is always a weekly special and you really cant get tired of eating it every day of the week. (i should know, i did for like 3 months) Cheers!
