Little Havana Restaurant Incorporated, North Miami

We went to Little Havana last night for dinner. We arrived at 9PM and waited 15 minutes for a table.It took forever for the waiter to come to our table. We were hungry and I told him we were in a hurry. I had to ask him 3 times just to bring bread and water to the table. We ordered on soup of the day... the split pea soup, although it was delicious was not hot. The Cuban Tamal with mojo was so clod I sent it back. The second time wasn't much better. My partner order the fish and it was good. My main entree was the Chunked Pork. It was room temperature... I insisted on speaking to the manager. He came to the table and I explained the importance of food being a MINIMUM of 145 degrees. He said he knew the health rules. I insisted that he pick up a chunk of my pork and feel it. He did so and a got a sick look on his face and apologized. By the time the reorder came my partner was done eating and the rest of my food... black beans with rice and plantains were cold. We would never return to Little Havana. It is too crowded, over priced, cold food, BAD SErVICE and a bad value. I am calling the Board of Health today before they get someone very sick serving food below safe temps.

This is a really nice cuban restaurant. The staff is very helpful and very attentive. The food is very quickly prepared. I will most likely eat here again.

The service was great. The employees really make sure you're doing ok. The employees are very respectful and they listen to your needs. The food is extremely delicious. The taste was great. They fill up your glass of water constantly. The time and money I spent at this place was worthy. I will definetely go back to this great restaurant again. I'd recommend this restaurant to others. Overall my experience at this place was very good.

I went to Miami with my wife in 2004 and had Little Havana's Arroz con Pollo and I have been thinking about it ever since. I tried to make it at home it was good but not the same. We went to a local Cuban Rest and that wasn't even close... In one week I will be on the beach FULL from my meal!!!

you have to try the palimilla stake with the rice and beans and bananas, this is a good cuban place and if you have small kid's the waiters don't mind like othre places they even help a littel. go have some good food and enjoy the cuban ambience.

The food is all good, nothing on the menu will taste bad or cheap, its all awesome food, but I detest the people there, the waiters have mood swings if you don't understand something. And if you sit near the front they talk bad about you, as if americans are funny to them.

The food reminds me of the way my father's aunts used to cook when I was a child. I've lost the art of making most of these cuban dishes but it's nice to have a place to go to enjoy them again.

My family and I really enjoy eating in this restaurant. It is the only nice Cuban Restaurant in my area (North Miami Beach) and it's always busy during lunch hours.
