Asaka, Aventura

Originally from Osaka, Japan, Chef Koji Ando studied and mastered "Kansai Kappou", a traditional Japanese Cuisine and sushi starting from a young age. In 1984, he moved to America to work for his friend's restaurant, one of the first Japanese restaurants introduced in Florida. Since then, Koji has made a large client base through his innovative style and passion for food for more than two decades. In 1993, he opened his own restaurant called "Asaka" in Aventura, Florida. Today, he is still proud to have one of the few restaurants with authentic Japanese Cuisine that can bring culture and tradition to South Florida.
