Papa Riccos Restaurant, Miami

Desserts have mold on them, he covers the mold with powdered sugar. None of the ingredients are fresh as the menu claims. The manager yells at his employees in front of costumers. The food is not worth the experience.

WORST EVER. we ordered delivery and were told it would take 45 minutes. an hour and a half later it wasnt there. we called the driver and he was literally a block away. he said hed be there shortly. after anther half hour he didnt show up we called the restuarant. they said the driver couldnt find it and just came back. they suggested since our house was difficult to find that we come pick up. WE ORDERED DELIVERY FOR A REASON. The owner apologized and said he would personally deliver our food free of charge and would be there 15 minutes later. HE NEVER CAME. we called in today (aka the day after) and asked what the deal was. the manager said he tried to find our house and it was too difficult, therefore the food would not be free no matter what.No one has ever had trouble finding our house and im convinced he never even tried to look for it. Pretty much i will NEVER order from PAPA RICCOS again. I will be trying pizza kitchen or big tomato as they are closer and received much better reviews.

Take out order was half the usual size and was cold. When I called back to complain I was told that was just the size they cut the lasagna that particular day. I asked to speak to the manager but was told he wasn't there. What a surprise! We think they just took yesterday's leftovers, cut them up, and forgot to heat them. Such a disappointment. We had been ordering from them since the 1970's. Obviously things have changed recently, and it's not cheap either.

The Owner is absolutely horrible at this restaurant. My husband and I took our children to this restaurant tonight. The food was okay but not how we asked for it. We did not make a big deal out of it and did not ask to send it back. After we asked for the check the owner came by our table to ask how everything was, well this is where our trouble began. When we told the owner that our pizza had not come the way we ordered it he became angry and rude. We did not call him over to complain, he came over and inquired as to how our dinner was. When he did not hear what he wanted to hear he became very rude. This is not a place I recommend eating at because the owner is not someone with typical ethics. It is unfortunate because the previous owners were amazing! This restaurant use to be an institution. Beware this restaurant may have the same name but is a far cry the original owner and the institution they built!

The Food is blah and the last time i was there the owner was yelling at his staff like it was a sweat shop
