The island influence is unmistakable in dishes such as Jamaican-style whole yellowtail, conch chowder, and conch fritters. Also noteworthy is the Portuguese fish stew. Menu prices cover a whole range and include chicken and meat dishes for the more carnivorous members of your party. While the decor and atmosphere are decidedly casual, the ambience only adds to the tropical theme of this excellent restaurant.
Yes it has a good wine list-but we have sent back 3 bottles in the past year because they had turned. Not a young family restaurant not is the service anything to brag about.
The special board is long so that is why the server don't tell you what is on it.
The fish tanks help the time to past while you are waiting for someone to take your order or offer you dessert. Very cold approach and the mangement appears to care less because they are busy due to the fact there is limited choices in the area for a seafood restuarant. Food is standard by a truely local freash eatery.
I love the ambiance. From the outside it looks like a typical hole in the wall restaurant; when you go in it feels like a fine high class restaurant. The food is fresh, and the services is great. They don't do much advertising but the place is always full, which is part of the thing I would say I dislike. It's a long wait.
