AMAZING!!!! is the word to describe this place, a hidden treasure for the locals and those who are lucky enough to enjoy their delicious food. The staff is great, the food is unbelievable and prices are great.
will recomend it to everyone i know. the trip was definetly worth it!!
This place is a find. The Miami Herald had a review giving it Four Stars that drew me to it in the first place! YUKI and his Chefs do a fine job and the presentation is beautiful. My Chirashi is the best ever they even will change or add pieces to a dish for you. The rice has little bits of mushroom which make it taste the best I've ever had. I have been going there since my son was 4 years old he now is 19! Some of the original chefs are still there. Its a nice romantic place as well as a family place.
Great place. The service is fantastic and the sushi is really good. I still think the sushi is a tad better at another place called Akashi, but the parking here is a lot easier and the booths provide privacy and a good conversation environment.
I am a sushi lover and Sushi Ko is the standard to judge by. Yuki is a master, and his staff is very well trained. The Rainbow Roll is second to none in Miami. When judging sushi, quality is the most important criteria .Everything is always fresh. I have been going there for maybe 20 years, and never had anything that wasn't 100%.
Sushi Ko has the best service and freshest fish! My husband and several of our friends frequently eat at Sushi Ko and never get bored of the food or the service. The owner is there most of the time greeting you with a smile from ear to ear. His son, Canta is the best waiter and upcoming manager I have ever experienced. It's my favorite hole in the wall! If you want a tip on what to order, get the Robert Maki and Roll 69! They are excellent as well as other sushi that I have tried there. And VERY reasonably priced. I can order an appetizer, 2 rolls, and a tempura ice cream and still have money left over for a good tip!
Sushi Ko was recomended by a family friend and it did not let us down. I have gone back a dozen times with different friends. Don't let the outward apperance fool you - the service is good and the food is fresh and amazing. I love the seaweed salad to start and the nigiri special plate (with tekka roll). The owner is also very, very friendly and makes you feel very welcome!
