Opium Garden, Miami Beach

Well I never had a chance to get into this club. I attempted to take 18 people to this club with me as we were visiting from out of town. I called to get VIP status, Erika instructed me to email the names of all in our party. However, once we got to the door the doorman refused to acknowledge the arrangement made with Erika. So, we decided to go to The 5th where we had a great time. *Warning* if you are visiting this club with a group, don't expect any courtesy from the staff. I will never advise anyone to step on foot into this place. I really think we were denied entry because we didn't fit in with the look of the other partons, (some of you will understand what that means)!

I dont have much experience with the Miami night scene, but relative to clubs in other cities, I was very impressed by the ambiance and diversity of people at this club. The music was great. Interesting and beautiful crowd. There were several bars to go up to. Lots of sitting area to take breathers. The outdoor garden atmosphere really helps reduce the smoke from cigarettes which I hate. Only gripe was the $20 cover, and ~$52 minimum for credit cards which forced me to spend more than I wanted on drinks.

The music was so nice. I loved every minute of it. Much much better than BED or Nikki. DJ was playing from all over the world and the smoke blowers were a lot of fun, too. Dress lite.

Definitely one of my favorite places to go, get this especially on Sundays. The club is definitely fun, classy and really creates that Miami Ambiance. Two Thumbs UP

I enjoyed Opium because of the atmosphere and the drinks the bartender was making because he put me on to some new drinks and that was enjoyable. The design of the club is nice as well and it wasn't really packed as much because there were many other places in the club to go to when it got heated which was the majority of the time. LOL LOL!!!!

If you want the ultimate in club in sobe or florida then this is the place the music the ambiance are 100% and every time i go is better than the last !!

Very expensive but it is unlike any other nightclub.

This place is beautiful!!! Someone spent a lot of money on this club. You feel like you're in a big garden. It's really cool!!! Always good music and always a great vibe.
