Having been to Pearl a few times I can say that overall it can be an enjoyable experience. If you are on vacation and looking for a little sensual romance splurge on a glass of champagne at the central champagne bar and indulge in a few strawberries. The aura exudes transient sexuality with it's white and orangish hues. Be weary of long lines outside of the club, you could stand out there a while.
The atmosphere is so stylish and impressive. If you like atmosphere alone you'll be happy. The food and service were deeply disappointing. The food is already priced very high ($20 for an itty-bitty tapas portion of steak and potatoes) and the waitress told us that we all needed 3 - 5 plates each to be full. She then suggested that we needed to have 2 extra portions of the lobster mashed potatoes to make sure no one went hungry. We had far more food than we needed and left almost half of it. Yes, the portions are tiney but we would have been fine with 3 plates max per person. Since we had a group of 8 and tip is included for groups it really felt like the waitress was just trying to increase her tip by taking advantage of the confusion caused by loud music and a big group to force us to order far more food than we needed. And the kitchen made a mistake and brought out a dish that we did not order and the waitress refused to take it off the menu. We also waited a LONG time between c
