Eleventh Street Diner, Miami Beach

Great for late night, after clubbing. Located in the heart of South Beach.

We visted Miami for a little over a week and this diner became our breakfast spot. It was much cheaper than anywhere else around and the food and service was excellent! As for another person's review about the parking...You're in South Beach you have to expect to park and walk to ANYWHERE you'd like to visit. It's worth your time and money, you will be satisfied. Definitely visit this diner next time your in South Beach!

After reading glowing reviews of this diner, my husband and I decided to visit. We reside in Miami. We went there on a weekend towards the end of 12/08 and had to leave, there was no parking to be found anywhere, the Beach was packed that day. We returned today, 1/18/09, and ate breakfast there for the first time, it was Sunday around 10:15 a.m.. We ended up in the outdoor patio area and were quickly astonished at the high prices of all their breakfasts and beverages. My husband and I eat out a minimum of 3 nights a week + weekends, we're very familiar with both expensive and inexpensive restaurants. Cafe-au-Lait $2.95 in a small cup! You can get an excellent cafe-au-lait at any Cuban restaurant for under $1.75. Two scrambled eggs with 2 thick slices of Canadian bacon and 4 measly slices of French Toast, $7.95. Between the two of us we paid almost $25 for this breakfast with tip and taxes. The Fr. toasts were awful, 4 tiny thin pieces of regular bread, bright yellow in color, with barely any batter or flavor. Another disappointment were the small pre-packaged containers of artifical pancake syrup. At these prices one expects pure maple syrup. No one was very friendly, the waitress wasn't too pleased when we asked for the Fr. toasts to be brought once we were done with the eggs & bacon because they'd get cold. She didn't know if this could be done, she'd have to ask the kitchen guy. They were finally able to comply. The guy who brought the food to the table dropped off the food and disappeared, not a word from this guy. We have no plans to return. I don't know where all the other glowing reviews came from, if the reviewers were paid or are related to the owners, or if the reviewers don't eat out much to be able to compare this food and this service against others or if they're just plain satisfied with mediocrity.

This was an excellent diner! Great service, great food and easy on the wallet. I would definitely recommend this over News Cafe any day!!!

WOW, a great south beach find. Great service, fast, and most of all awesome food. Everything we tried was great. If you are looking for a family friendly, any time of day eatery, try the 11th street diner.

Rumor has it, 11th Street Diner has the best, most affordable Thanksgiving restaurant in Miami Beach. I also like their club sandwich, biscuits and gravy, and hazelnut decaf coffee.

This was a phenomenal place to have a comfort food dinner experience. The sandwiches are excellent. The atmosphere was 50s-ish with a modern twist. The service was great and very helpful in food selection.

Cool building but looks can be deceiving. Went in at 5:00 on a Sunday evening. Tables were filled with dirty dishes and we were not greeted. Left and went to Jerry's Famous Deli where we were treated with clean surroundings and exceptional menu selections.

It's a great place for the price and the location. The food is great, and you can always stumble over after a night on ocean ave. We loved this little diner and the prices are not to be beat in sobe.

This resturant is very much a diner. However, the food is awesome. The people are really friendly and you get a chance to feel like you are beginning a relaxing vacation. Along side all of the stuffiness that South Beach offers is this cool comfort food offering diner. You have got to love that.
