What a story I have! My husband and i were staying at the Fontainbleau, and decided to forgo expensive food and found this restaurant on the internet. So we put in our order and I told them that I would meet the delivery guy out front.
That turned out to be a disaster because the poor man did not know which entrance I was waiting (there were three entrances and I was waiting in the middle), so the guy ended up calling me, and after nearly 10 minutes of bantering on the phone so he can find me, the bellhops stepped in to help and sent the guy to the right entrance. I was relieved, but not more so than the poor delivery guy! He looked panicked and flustered and he kept apologizing to me, and I felt so bad for him. Of course, I gave him a bigger than average tip for all of his trouble. Turned out after talking with him, they said, they always had a problem delivering to this hotel because of it's many entrances, and I don't blame them at all. The delivery guy went above and beyond to try and get the food to it's destination and for that, I am extremely grateful.
Overall though, the delivery was quicker than I thought (the lady told me half an hour, but it arrived in 15 minutes), and the food is excellent, much more reasonable in price than the other expensive jerks around here. What a relief that was and I found this restaurant on a whim! The next time we come back, we are definitely ordering here!
In short, my wife and i highly recommend trying this one! Very delicious, and not run of the mill.
We're visiting Miami from Toledo, staying at the 4 point Sheraton, and hungry. We yellowbooked up restaurant delivery and this place came up. We read other's reviews and gave it a shot... Glad we did!!! We ordered blindly (no online menu we could find) the general Tso and Shrimp Lo-Mein and eggrolls. Everything was fantastic!! We realized minutes before the delivery came that we didn't have plates, etc... Fortunately the delivery man was better prepared than we were, bringing decent paper plates, plastic forks, and sauces. Great food, great service, 5 stars!
Mike's gives you alot of bang for your buck. The amount of food I recieved in the little $10.86 order i recieved was very filling. I couldn't even eat it all. It was enough for two. If you decide to eat here, try the General Tso Chicken. It will hit the spot.
