Ortanique on the Mile, Coral Gables

I really liked the food. Wasn t too happy with service and hostesses. The best part of our night was when My party sat at the bar and we were very content with bartender Joel. This restaurant is lucky to have someone that is so knowledgeable about every single detail of the menu and that knows how to treat his customers. His service was impeccable! If we go back, we will definitely sit at the bar!

Absolutely fantastic! As a Jamaican myself, I was very proud to see the tremendous and exciting twists given to Jamaican/Caribbean dishes! The service was truly hospitality at its best- from our beautiful hostess, to each of our servers, the experience was so good that I recommended the restaurant to others from my company and we use gift vouchers from the Ortanique for our senior executives! Really good food, really good service, in a very unique setting. Not the cheapest out there, but well worth it for very special occasions.

My boyfriend and I love this place. The food is delicious and the service is great. If you like caribbean food, this is the place to go. They make a great mojito. You'd love it too.

I'm not sure why anyone would go back (except for the bartender Joel who was a real nice guy) everyone made my party of four feel like we were lucky to be there and not vice versa. The service was deplorable, our waiter had no tact what so ever, even when he made mistakes with the order;the food was well prepared but not great and the atmosphere not the laid back tropical atmosphere you would expect. lastly, when my party decided to stay due to a severe rain storm after the tab was closed, it seemed like a burded to continue to serve us even though there were no other customers coming in. With so many choices in the area, save your money or better yet, go to Chispa for a fun time, great service and good food.

This place is very charming and elegant, yet modern. I really like being here, the atmosphere is very calming and relaxing, and the food is just great. If u'r visiting FLA, and u wanna eat sum good food, this place will hit the spot.
