Scotty's Landing, Miami

Been there quite a few times. Have noticed that it get worse and worse. I love the outdoors but the service is, at best mediocre and very slow, few staff smiles, if any. I think the owners of Scotty's Landing have the gall to ask for 18% on the menu for 6 and up... then when I got my bill, my waiter asked for 18%-20% by handwriting it on the bill. I am offended. I thought that a tip is voluntary based on quality of service. In my opinion the service deserves at best a 10% tip. There were only four of us. I doubt I'll come back and I am a local. Oh yes, no refills on sodas and the waiter had the gall to give three of us a bigger glass of soda and me a small one at the same price... I thought that was just weird if inconsiderate. No explanation. The place needs a makeover with new management and more considerate and less greedy treatment of their customers. Doc L.

Forget the more expensive place next door, this place is a real good find right next to city hall and you can't beat the prices nor the view. One of the best places in the Grove without the fat price tag.

This is one of my favorite local places when I come home to Miami. The food's pretty good, and the view's great, but I go primarily for one thing: the She-Crab soup. It's amazing! Spicy, creamy... you'll find yourself dreaming about it. Added bonus: it's a casual outdoor setting, so pets are allowed.
