Located in the heart of Coconut Grove, Mr. Moe's is a bar and restaurant combo with a very unique flare. The decor sets it apart from any other establishment as its theme is a log cabin set amidst a tropical jungle. It may sound odd, but its quirkiness is what has made it a legend on the Miami circuit. Most nights you can catch live performances on the main stage, or watch people struggle to ride the mechanical bull that has taken up residency there. And the food isn't bad either. Focused around hearty, home-cooked American fare, expect to see dishes such as T-Bone steak, Baby Back ribs and Buffalo Burgers. But the main attraction is the beloved 11-foot Grizzly Bear that stands proudly at the front of the restaurant watching patrons dig into their steaks and ribs.
The plasma TV's are great for sporting events and they also have a pool table and darts, which are conveniently located in the back corner of the locale, so its not in the way of the partying.
Moe's is always a good time, whether you meet with friends for dinner, beers and football. There's just something about Moes that makes your worries go away and your stress disappear. For bar grub, the food is absolutely amazing and definitely hits that spot when you get the drunken (or whatever your choice might be) munchies. If you're lucky enough to get one of the rocking tables outside, you are set for the night. You'll be able to have a conversation with your friends and people-watch, and still be able to listen to the music without all the inside hustle. But if you are feeling rowdy then venture inside, you'll have a good time regardless.
I wasnt impressed to say the least. I have been there for music before and that was cool. But the food I got was plain and tasteless. Not to mention I was grossed out by all the fur on the walls. This is a good place if you are a lumberjack, outdoors man, or a park ranger. Other than that BLAH!
This club has a variety of interesting items on the menu, like Buffalo burgers. If you want to see some endangered species, shot and hung on the wall for your amusement, they have that also. There is a big Kodiak bear in there also. How many of those are left?? well they have one for you to enjoy.
I've lived in miami for 15 years and this is the only place of its kind in town. The atmosphere is awesome, the food is great and plentiful and the service is good.Moe's has all the sports events and the prices can't be beat.I wish there were more places in miami like Mr. moe's
Lots of food--too much for some, but very good BBQ. Quick, friendly service, nice rustic mountain atmosphere. Reasonably priced. We had a group of 8 which was easily accomodated without reservations. We had fun.
Thank God for this place. It's one of a few places that presents live Rock music. I'ts unfortunate that Miami has never (and may never) fully grasp and appreciate what live music means to a major city. With that said Moe's breaks the mold by providing what this town needs. A place where you can find Hot Music, Hot Women, Hot Food and Cold Drinks all under one roof. Needless to say the place is always packed.
