I think I should start this review by saying that my wife and I probably did not approach this place in the right way. We drove (thereby it took forerver to park), we came in during lunch after an already busy day (thereby expecting quick service and really friendly staff to ease us into the experience), and we wanted good food that would be lunch-priced (not understanding, since it was out first full day on the island, that pricing for lunch is abit different at KW).
The meal turned out fine, just more expensive than planned. The key lime pie my wife had was perfect! The seafood dish I had was wonderful, fresh! The surroundings took a bit to get used too, especially the overly-rustic-cuban rooster-infested feel. Waitress we had was slow to respond and seemed like she was some moderate form of ecstasy.
You need to have a certain mind-set to enjoy this without reservation....
