Our stay at the Hyatt Windward Point was very enjoyable. The location is was nice because it was away from the hussle and bussle of downtown. Yes the airport is next door and you do hear planes going over several times during the day, but we knew that before we booked and they truly didn't bother us. The pool and hot tub were very clean, but would have been nice to have them open after 10 p.m. Whenever we called for towels, etc. the service was immediate. If you want to grill out, all you do is call down to the front desk and ask to reserve a grill for a particular time and they go down clean it and light it for you. The beds were very comfortable. We flew into Fort Lauderdale and rented a car, it was a 4 hr drive to the resort (a bit long). We arrived at night and in the morning it was amazing to wake up and go out onto the deck and see the beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need except for food.
I had a piece of jewelry stolen from my room. I knew the exact time and where i put it. Housekeeping had been the only ones in the room. I reported it and got no where. very frustrating. Also right next to the airport-noisy all day. Would not recommend to anyone.
amazing, happy, fun, cool, super, beautiful, love, happiness, people, great, weather, cool people, great service, great food, hip, trendy, best i have ever been to. I loved it i will return ever year if possible.
Granite countertops in the kitchen, whirlpool bath in the master suite, balcony overlooking the ocean, very spacious, very clean. Nothing I didn't like. My husband and I liked it so much we bought a time share there!
We were very impressed when we entered our condo. It was decorated beautifully and the flooring was spectacular! The beds were very comfortable and we loved the jacuzzi in the master bath. Also, we appreciated the toilet being in its' separate room with a door for privacy off the master bathroom. My daughter loved her very own room with her own T.V. in an amoir. The balcony overlooked the Atlantic, which we enjoyed the breathtaking sunrises. My daughter and my husband enjoyed the telescope on the balcony,a real nice surprise! The only things we found fault in were: Roosevelt Rd. between the property and the ocean. There was mold in the airconditioner vents which made me have an allergic reaction to it and I sneesed non-stop! The temperature in the jacuzzi,by the pool was way, way too hot! No one was able to enjoy it. But the service was wonderful! Our first telescope wasn't working properly, and we called about it and within the next 30 minutes, they replaced it with a nicer, working one! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad when it was time to leave! We are planning to return again, soon.
Sits right smack on the oceans edge.they have everything you want or need if you chose to not explore the island.the sailing excursions are taken straight from the hotel.the snorkeling is indescribable.there is a santuary 7 miles out which is a no touch no take zone. The coral, the sharks and jelly fish, the baracuda,s and 5 foot tarapins.its amazing.even my 7 yr old went.and so relaxing.the island itself was fun to explore as well.and the hyatt rents motor scooters for transport if you tire of walking.this place is dreammy!
