The name Crabby Dick's may make you picture a cramped bar with a grumpy waitress, but this place is the exact opposite. The outdoor dining deck has white balconies and overhead fans; if you prefer air conditioning, you can eat in the upstairs dining room. The menu offers a wide variety of seafood, from Red Caribbean Conch Chowder (USD5) to deep-fried catfish (USD15). Happy Hour is from 4p to 7p daily. This spot has eight televisions for sports fans, a full bar and a children's menu. Parking is free, and there is an elevator in back.
I loved everything about Crabby Dick's. The food ,the service and location. I always ate at least twice there every trip to Key West. Unfortunately when I was in Key West last week the restaruant is now closed, the signs are gone and everything. Even the locals had no idea why they were closed. I was really disapointed to see another Key West attraction gone.
Duval Street is where all the action is in KW Sooooo, you can walk yourself upstairs and hang out watch the town go by and eat there. This is a theme sort of restaurant. I wouldn't go there for anything more than a quick bite some drinks maybe appetizers. it is what it is. If you are the picky dinner, don't bother. If you want to have some fun, buy a t-shirt this is the place for you, actually if you have been downstairs at the rhuma bar.. drinking everything upstairs will be gourmet.. ahahah
The food was fair, the service was terrible and I was double charged for the meal! It is now four weeks later and I am still trying to get reimbursed!! I spoke with the manager and he was very little help...I would avoid this place!
4-28-2007: downstairs greeter was trashed! Wanted to sit at the downstairs side bar but it just closed because the bartender was trashed also. went to the upper level, outside deck(nice view!)waiter from rhode island was awful-i ordered oyster starter, go 6 tiny oysters that didnt taste like oysters at all!my spouse ordered runny fish dip that looked like old tuna salad. Waiter forgot the bread i ordered. bill came to 38.00(included 2 cocktails)will never go back again & will tell everyone that and why!
couple next to us was not happy either but i live in florida year round and know what to expect-and i expected a lot more for the price!
The only thing good here was our attentive waitor. The food compared to long jon silvers at 10 times the cost.Do yourself a favor and keep moving up Duval when they try to con you into gracing their establishment.
Crabby Dicks is the worst place that we have ever dined in Key West. It has nice ambiance when you sit upstairs on the outside deck...but other than that...they have nothing to offer. The sea food is frozen and the service is bad. The food is bland and tasteless. Save your money and go to somewhere else.
We went there on our first day and I was disappointed by my meal but my boyfriend loved his oysters. After the trip was over it was actually the best place we ate at which is pretty bad that we couldnt find a decent restaraunt in key west. The only nice thing was it was right on duval st and it was upstairs so you could look outside.
Great food. Convenient location Great view. Priced Right!!!
I always end up going here several times over the week for a Grouper sandwich.
I don't care for the overpriced, trendy, snooty bistro type of restaurants that are popping up..this is how Key West should be
I have to say that because this is where I work. At least underneath it in their tropical bar, Rhumba. This is where the REAL locals go. You know the ones with British, Irish, Scottish, Polish, etc etc accents. Best Drinks, best bartender, BREE!! It is the best damn dive in town even if I do say so myself. And I do. Often. See you here. I dare ya!

Thereâs nothing quite like the Florida Keys, and at the Duval Inn, we believe your Key West experience should be
nothing short of extravagant. A turn of the century historic guesthouse, youâll find the Duval Inn has both the ...
