At one time Key West used to be Pet friendly.. with their many out door eating spots ( Fogarty's one of them) but not any more. It seems odd that you can sit and have pigons walking around and Roosters scratching all over the place next to your table, and homeless cats wandering around, that a well behaved dog on a leash is not allowed.
As a local resident I feel that somehow annoying wildlife that will leave dropping all over much of the atmosphere is much worse then a pooch on a leash.
If there is a no animal rule doesn't that also include Pigeons that poop, Roosters that carry mites and Feral cats that carry fleas should also be banned???
