This is a great place to eat! The prices are good and so is all the food we tried. The server was great too. I didn't have to remind her to put a lime in my Very fresh Red Stripe or beg for service. There was another couple there that said they frequent the place so that tells you something.

We visit Key West every year for 2 weeks and, every year, we eat at Carolines EVERY DAY for lunch or dinner!! The fish sandwich is the best of anyplace in the entire Keys!!! The fish is such a huge portion, that two of us can share!!!! GREAT location...free entertainment of watching people pass by, as you enjoy a wonderful meal in an atmosphere that is all about what Key West REALLY is!!!!! The staff at Carolines actually remembers us from year to year and are always happy to see us.. No matter what you order off their menu, you are sure to be MORE than pleased!!! Very reasonabely priced for Key West also...There is no need to dine anywhere else, when Key West offers the finest quality, service and consistancy from year to year at Carolines!!!!!!!!!!! See you next September!!!

I went to Caroline's based on a local's recommendation - and I definitely could taste why! The fresh fish of the day Blackened Mahi-Mahi sandwich was phenomenal! It was one of the best I had ever had - and I eat them quite a bit! The portions were so large, that I took over 1/2 home, and was able to eat for a second meal. This is a must try while in the Keys!

Having eaten Po Boys in NOLA the shrimp po boy @ Caroline's is the best seafood Po Boy I've ever tasted. Huge portion and as shrimp as sweet as can be. The Bruschetta is advertised as an Appetizer but that is False Advertising!! It is really a collosal and delicious luncheon salad. As much of KW changes and sorry to say it degrades from the "Last bastion from civilization" to the "Bring big Bucks" and the Conch Republic dies, Carolines remains one of the few free spirited fun and great value holouts in Key West.
