Awful! Too loud, too rude, bad food, and I don't know a single local that goes there, unless they work there.

You want a locals favorite... This is one of them. Trust a local the food is always great. The burgers are huge. The artichoke dip is amazing. The potato soup is the best (when offered). The Reuben is loaded with meat and the staff is wonderful. The negative comments I hear must just be bitter people. I do not work for the restaurant, but eat there about once a week. It's main focus is a sports bar. However I am not a big sports watcher and always have a great time there. Not sure about the comment about fried food. Maybe the menu has changed since. Never have known a Reuben, pot roast, meat loaf, grilled chicken (platter or sandwich), ect to be fried. Yes the fried food is great, but something here for everyone. I always take my out of town friends here to eat. Two thumbs up to Jack Flats. As matter of fact, think I will go grab a bite to eat there now.....

I have eaten here about eight times in the past 2 years. They have the biggest and best tasting burgers and fish sandwiches in Key West.

I love this place. Has excellent food. Everything is fresh and well priced. Also, staff was very friendly.

I don’t recommend this place. The food was average bar food…..but the service was terrible. It looks like they under-staff the place so expect to wait. But, if you’re just looking for some beers to watch a football/baseball game, this is a good option.

February 12, 2008 This is a Duval Street sleeper. It is said that many locals eat at Jack Flats Bar & Restaurant and it is true. This was the first time I have eaten there. While waiting for my food a group of about six police officers came in and took a table in the back of the restaurant. The food was very good and the price was a pleasant surprise. While there are a number of places along Duval Street with good food the price can be up there. I am sure it is because of the price of rents etc. This place is more of a sports bar. If I remember correctly there were at least five big screen TV’s and another ten or more smaller ones around the place. The staff is very lay back. The restaurant is very clean. Good menu. You can take anyone in here and enjoy a meal.

Management & staff was very rude. Food & drinks are way overpriced. Food wasn't really good either. Went there to watch a football game, and was asked to leave table so other customers can come in and sit. Bar was full, so we had to stand and watch the game. Service was horrible.

Everything was great! Can't wait to go back real soon. We ate there two days in a row and took a to-go meal for the drive back.
