All in all this review is to save the lives of others contemplating a good time to be had at this Dave and Buster's. I can't begin to explain the poor service and horrific attitudes of the management staff. I decided to visit the location as it was suggested to be a good experience by a friend. We ventured here on several different occassions just to be fair. OMG was I in for a treat. For one thing there are way too many children ruining the atmosphere with their incesant crying, game hogging, expelling body fluids and drink spilling. Not to mention the parents are Missing In Action at the bar leaving their offspring to the care of the restaurant. Some of the food items are actually edible and quite tasty (i.e. the wings, the Lacy's Chicken, the Cajun Chicken Pasta and some of the burgers are ok too. Let's get to the drinks which for whatever reason tends to be watered down and I feel as though the children who order soda's get more of a buzz than I do. I recommend the Walk The Plank or the TNT if you want to actually feel as though you have had a drink. There are a few nice bartenders that make the experience quite enjoyable. Being in the hospitality business for 14 years now kind of has its perks. This place has a lot of potential if the staff along with management matched the decor. A couple of the managers like Tracy Ray and Amanda Borusak have severe attitude problems. These two women have no type of interpersonal skills and in my opinion they should't be allowed to even interact with the customer with such attitudes. It paints a poor image of the head manager if he or she allows this type of behavior, which I guess is acceptible. Another issue that I found with this place is the dress code and its clientele. Dave and Buster's must have minimal employee appearance and hygiene requirements as a few of the waitstaff smelled like hot garbage when passing by my table. Not to mention the offensive breath of a quite large and robust door man to which I refused to linger around to get a name. On one occassion dining in the Midway turned out to be very scary as I observed this waitress serving food wearing an extremely filthy shirt with holes underneath the armpit. I believe her name was Carla but I am not 100% sure of the name but the fact that she was allowed to serve people in that condition was deplorable. I even noticed that a large number of the other staff members appeared to be high or intoxicated in a highly noticeable fashion. The Midway games are ok if you don't mind getting trampled by some unattended child roaming around aimlessly because they can. If these reviews serve any purpose Dave and Buster's can learn a lot from the ones provided here. They have the potential to be a nice hangout with quite a few changes to be made as they need them badly. Management sucks, the food is ok, the clientele they attract is another saga all together, the drinks are watered down and need some tweaking. A change in the children policy would also benefit them as well. No children should be allowed after 10:00 pm no matter what as that is the adult bewitching hour anyway. Review their staff more closely and provided insight as to hygiene requirements, appearance improvements and attitudes that are unacceptible in the world of hospitality and dining. It starts at the top then trickles down to the rest of the staff. In any profession your staff represents your business and in the case of Dave and Buster's, this place should be a burger joint which is more becoming of the staff and management it employs. Too bad the very few good qualities are drowned out by bad attitudes, long waits and a see-saw type of experience that doesn't warrant a return visit. In all honesty I think people visit because it's convenient as opposed to a wonderful place.
