Niki's Family Restaurant, Melbourne

Typical mom & pop restaurant. The food was, at best, adequate, the prices far from reasonable, and the portions small. The lamb, though tender, tasted as if it had been prepared in tomato soup, the mash potatoes were gummy, and the salad simply iceberg lettuce, mealy tomato, onion, & cucumber. The same quality of food can easily be had at Denny's or Pancake House for less money. The high spot of our visit was our waitress who was attentive and personable. Seriously doubt if I will return unless somehow starvation prevails.

What's all the RAVE? Just an average place to stop. Once. Sure was Hungry when I left......
