Jaxson's Ice Cream Parlor, Dania

My family and I just moved back to Fla. And found Jaxson's by change and we just love the place and it's only three min from our house. we eat there at least once a week and the ice cream is to die for.

SO FUN! It's a cozy,little hole in the wall restaurant. the food's great, the ice cream's delicious, and the atmosphere's fun! It's more pricey then just a baskin robbins/dairy queen ice cream, but definitely worth it! the kitchen sink is H-U-G-E!

This place is the bomb! Home made ice cream made fresh daily and so is the root beer - you have to try it! The foot long hot dog platter is more than you can eat in two days! And the kitchen sink is really served in a minature kitchen sink - bring LOTS of friends if you brave that one! Monroe (the owner) is a baby doll and he still oversees the daily operation after 50 years. You won't want to miss this place I promise the kitchy environment will make you smile and the food and friendliness will bring you back for seconds, and thirds, and fourths!

Very good. I'm not even a huge ice cream fan and I really enjoyed the ice cream here. We went after Le Tub so it was a pretty good eatins day.

This restaurant is fun and the food is delicious. Decent kids menu and they make their own sodas! Yummy

We have been loyal customers for over 35 years and we live in New York!!! We fly into Ft Lauderdale and go directly to Jaxson's, my wife LOVES the mocha chip with big pieces of chocolate and I crave the pistachio, the peach, and the black raspberry. The wait can be long, the setting is lowdown, but the Ice Cream is great and so is the food. Terrific burgers, fries, dogs, sandwiches. Prices are fair . . .but OHHHHHH THE ICE CREAM ! ! ! It is our first stop when we land and our last stop before we take off and she weighs 115 lbs - we don't eat ice cream at home.

Tooooo expensive for a small hole int the wall restaurant. The food is not bad, but the service and wait time is unforgivable. Expect to pay around $50.00 for 2 people eating hotdogs and ice cream. I would never go back. It's a tourist trap anyway. If you want to spend that kind of money, at least go to the beach for som ambiance. Jacksons is in a strip mall.
