Pompano Grill, Cocoa Beach

I have dined in this restaurant a few times now, and everytime that I do, it is fabulous!! The chef is very talented as well as friendly! Very good service & atmosphere. This is the best seafood that my family & I have ever had!! I highly recommend reservations a day or two ahead of time. Pompano Grill is truly a hidden gem!! I traveled to cocoa beach on company business in November 2008. Pampano Grill was recommended to me by co-workers in that area. I had very high hopes for this place. When we arrived, there were only two other couples there and a hostess/waitress. The hostess was nice and did a nice job serving. The decor was an old feel. I order the veal scalpini (spelling wrong). The dish called for veal and pancetta. The dish was extremely salty. It was unbearable. My friend had the seafood crepes. It seemed to be highly regarded. However, she was very disappointed in the dish. She said the fish had a a bad texture and did not taste very good. I really had high hopes for this place and looked forward to looking dining there after work. However, it was very pricey and didn't deliver the quality of food I was expecting.
