Del's Freez, Melbourne

If it's ice cream, soft serve or otherwise, or something that can be combined with or crammed into ice cream, Del's is the place to go. I often see folks ordering hot dogs, but for me and my friends, soft serve cones are the main attraction. (Though I am always tempted by the exotic Boston Shake.) Currently I am a large peanut butter cone man. Around a buck and a half for a towering mass of delicately flavored goodness. Smack dab on Harbor, you could gaze at the river across the street, though most seem to devour their goodies in the car with the AC blasting away. This humble ice cream shack is one of my favorite places in town.
