Hanamizuki Japanese Restaurant, Orlando

I love Ramen and relocating to Florida was difficult because I was afraid of not being able to eat that again. Yay for Hanamizuki.. if only there were more of them around Florida. My tonkatsu was slightly salty but overall it was a good eating. The environment is good.. only I felt a bit of an outsider. Customer service was slightly on bad side.. no one checked on us to see how we were doing. Maybe all of this due to language barrier.. Anyways if you love Ramen then Hanamizuki may be your only hope in Florida or east coast.

I lived in Tokyo for about 2 years and couldn't find a good authentic sushi place in Tampa/Orlando. Finally I came across Hanamizuki. This place was great! They have sukiyaki, shabushabu, ramen, VERY fresh sushi and so much more!!!. All the great food I haven't eaten for a long time. Anyone who wants authentic style Japanese food, this is definetly the place to go. Don't expect Americanized sushi and flashy shows with fire. You will find the best Japanese food in middle Florida

The service and prices may be drawbacks, but if you're lookning for excellent authentic Japanese food then this is the place for you. I have spent many years in Japan and my wife is Japanese...we eat here as often as we can. I have never eaten the sushi there, but I can understand the other raters issues with it. But, try any other dish and you will not be disappointed. You can't get any better ramen anywhere.

Excellent the best restauant ever hands down I really cant wait to go back its so delicious I mean really its just that good. When I got there service was excellent and the food happened and it couldnt be beat.

all the food was Just like in japan ! I went to tiis restaurant lunch and dinner for five days with my staff we all loved it !!

I was extremely disappointed to say the least. Expensive price, little food, mediocre quality and slow service pretty much sums it up. I don't recommend. 'nuff said!

I went to this rest on X'mas day 2005, Small restaurant was packed! and about 8 other family was waiting for the table I notice that, I was the only one who probably could not trace his ancestry back to Japan

The reviews for the restuarant are very deceiving. We had a teribble experience. Sushi is mediocre, very pricey, and the time to get our food seemed like eternity. Eat at our own risk.

My husband and I were looking for some really good sushi so after we read the yahoo reviews, we wanted to give this place a try. We waited more than an hour to get our sushi. It took soooo long that my husband and I were about to pass out from hunger. We ended up payin about $60 for the meal and were unsatisfied with the food. They gave tiny pieces and it was not worth the money at all. We are both Asians and we know sushi. Do not recommend.
