Ponderosa Steakhouse, Orlando

My daughter and I both ordered a 7-oz steak with buffet. It was $9.99 each. Actually we would rather have a choice of either steak or buffet but it is not available. My steak was pretty good but my daughter's wasn't. The place was busy on a Friday night. The tables and floor were noisy, dirty & greasy. The waitress was nice but also very busy too.

Not what it was, ponderosa used to be great, but the variety of choices in the buffet section has definitely gone down, I would suggest pay a little more and get a steak at outback steakhouse or pay a little less and get great choice at Golden Corral.

The fact that this is on here makes me wonder if this is all fixed. Food - HORRID Service - what one can only expect going into a similar establishment.

ok, first of all the prices were very high. my 11 year old ate on plate of food and we were chagred $8.99 for her. (for the buffet) also, the food you can order, is way overpriced also. we got steak, and it tasted like rubber and very old. also, all the things on the buffet were old, and they had a VERY small selection. (unless you like jello, they have about 8 different discusting flavors!) this was the worst restaurant ive ever been to!!! i will never go here again or recommend it to anyone!

i have been to florida many times and my dad always wants to go to this place as it is cheap but me and my mum think that the main courses are disgusting but i have to admit the buffet has a good choice of food but even though we dont like it - we will probally go back as my dad likes a bargin!!!

my family and i loved it at ponderosa the service, food, and value was brilliant. We went there every night for dinner, we went in for breakfast somtimes that still really good and its never over crowded, there is lots of space. it was brilliant overall. I LOVED IT!

First went to the ponderosa back in 95 and it seemed at the time very good value for a large amount. However returned in 03 and found it very poor and the quality of the food was well below par. It is very cheap but you get what you pay for. Cant see the point in travelling all that distance and spending all that money and then eating in a place like this especially as for a few dollars more you can eat far better quality food. having said that second time travellers to orlando rareley go back to it. I go to orlando each year and always give this place a wide birth.

the food was terrible and if you do go here dont eat the beans as they are terrible i will never go back.we went for breakfast and all the americans seemed to like it but no way would i recmend this to anyone worst place to go for your breakfast.

The food was allright, but not that great. It is very cheap so you can't expect much of the food, but you really can't complain about it. One thing is so bad: the toilets are so dirty, it's to puge. Ponderosa do something about that!!!!

I went to the $3.99 breakfast buffet. My drink was $1.99. I thought that was high for a $4 meal. The first plate I picked up had a cucumber stuck to the bottom of it. I ran across several other dirty plates that morning as well. The food was cold. The pancakes were disgusting. The fruit was soggy. The power went out twice. The only nice thing I can say is that out waiter was very nice.
