Cariera's Cucina Italiana
This eatery serves contemporary Italian selections in a modern atmosphere accented by hardwood seating, beige and white tablecloths and royal blue napery. Located in Orlando's touristy but fun Marketplace, a dining and shopping complex, the restaurant features such options as Seafood Ravioli and Sorrento Chicken, served in a wine sauce with tomatoes and scallions. Starters include Fried Calamari, and the restaurant also has a full bar.
I'm at Cariera's about twice a month, if that tells you anything... This is the sort of place that the locals from Bay Hill take their families when they come into town, or we stop to grab a beer or two at the bar while we order a couple of pizzas takeout. My favorites... I love, love, love their Chicken Parmesan sandwich, they have awesome pizzas and you can get slices late at night, and the tables outside are great for a warm Orlando January night.
Don't miss Holy Cannoli night.
We went to Cariera's Cucina, and it was a nice experience, except the noisy kitchen staff witch could be heard all over the restaurant, really not pleasant when you want to have a conversation !! The food was very good, and service also, even though, when I go to an Italian restaurant I expect the server to where black and white, like they do in Italy, where I have been several times, and not a sloppy red shirt.
Overall a nice place to eat, and we'll be back .
This is the most friendly restaurant in the Bay Hill area and their food is always the best. No one in town can match their pizza or egg plant parmesan. We've tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed or surprised by the bill. You know when you have to wait to be seated for 10/15 minutes there is a good reason...THE FOOD IS GREAT! The bar is always full too so it is a great meeting place for locals. There are numerous places in the area to eat but I'd wait forever for to be seated for our favorite meal. We even do take out for the nights when we just want to go home and munch out. Try it out-you won't be disappointed!
The food is incredible. I have tried many dishes and loved every one. Outside seating has very LOUD music and they allow smoking (legal?). The prices are very high $$$. Usually over $60 for two people, if you have one drink.
The familiar italian atmosphere and menu, good place for your family. Quality is not spectacular but very good and the portions are of good size. Some outdoor seating for the diehard smokers. In this high price neighborhood a reasonable family choice.
I love this place. It is really family friendly. There is always children there. In fact pictures of children and other patrons line the walls of the fun eatery and it has a great atmosphere.
The food is great! Their appitizer Caprese is just wonderful. We had Caprese on our honeymoon in Venice, Italy and Cariera's presentation is 10 times better than how we recieved it in Italy! Every dish we've tried has been wonderful. And the wine list is great.
We tell all our friends about it and encourage them to pay a visit to Cariera's
My friend and I had some time before returning our rental car and flying home to Boston. We were very hungry...that is when we found Cariera's Cucina Restaurante outside of Orlando, FL. What a wonderful find! Excellent food! We started out with Fried Calamari, the best either of us has ever tasted, followed by tender and moist chicken parmagiana and delicious manicotti.
Even the unique garlic bread sticks were fantastic. I wish there was one of these restaurants in the Boston area.
Our waiter, David, was knowledgeable, attentive and had a good sense of humor. I would definately recommend this restaurant. It is worth the money. We took doggie boxes of our food home on the plane with us!
