LA Hacienda Restaurant, Orlando

This very poor excuse for a restaurant left my family very ill. They explained that they were a Colombian restaurant, but gave us Mexican menus, as well. The food was the worst I have ever eaten, Mexican or otherwise. My family, unimpressed with the offerings, ordered Chicken Quesadillas, and they were inedible. I ordered Garlic Shrimp and it was cold, greasy, and tasteless. The rice they served was crunchy, as in overcooked or left on the warmer too long. The tortilla chips were extremely greasy and cold. I am not sure how this establishment can stay in business! When the young lady came to leave the bill (an unbelievable $75), she asked why we had not eaten the food, and I explained that it was real bad, and she asked if we needed boxes to take it home! Obviously, there was a language problem here. Do not waste your time or money on this dumpy place. They even had nude pictures of women in the mens restroom on the walls. Not at all appropriate for a family restaurant.

Good food. Good price. Fresh. Try the Bandeja Paisa.

The food is not bad, But what got me throu the roof was that on the menu it clearly states that on party of 6 or more they will add 15% gratuity and i'm ok with that but since when do you have to pay 15% gratuity when the check is above 50.00 dollars?
