Narcoossee's is part of Walt Disney World's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It is situated on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon and offers remarkable views of the Magic Kingdom, including the Cinderella Castle. There is no better location to observe the nightly Electrical Water Pageant show and The Wishes Nighttime Spectacular fireworks display than from here. Make your reservations well in advance of your trip to this striking octagon-shaped restaurant that has a surrounding enclosed porch overlooking the lagoon. The menu is filled with numerous selections of fresh seafood, steak, chicken and more, along with several bar specials too. The setting is elegant, and it is an ideal place for families as well as romantic evenings. - Diane Dilov-Schultheis
I love this restaurant! My boyfriend and I had dinner here for our second time. We stay at Disney's Polynesian Resort, so it's only a short walk away at the Grand Floridian Resort. What I really like is that the restaurant isn't in or connected to the Resort. It had it's own building and it's right on the edge of the Seven Seas Lagoon. Our first experience here last summer was great, so we had to try it again. Once again, everything was perfect. Before we ordered anything, they brought us bread with butter and their special sea salt sprinkled on top. It's really good. For an appetizer, I had the fried calamari. It was good, but they put all kinds of sauteed peppers and onions on top, so I had to push it off with my fork so it wouldn't make the calamari soggy. My boyfriend had the mussels. I had them last time. They are always delicious! For an entree, I had the filet mignon. The potato gratin was great. My boyfriend had the surf 'n' turf and was happy with it. For dessert, I had the tropical sorbet, just like last time. My boyfriend had the hazelnut-chocolate ganache cake. He loved it! Both were good. The service was pretty good, but not as great as the first time. I think our waitress was kind of new. Our bill was about $150.00 We'll come here every time we come to Walt Disney World! It's my boyfriend's favorite restaurant, and definitely one of my favorites.
