California Grill, Lake Buena Vista

My boyfriend and I dined here for the first time, and we had such a great dinner! This is one of my new favorite Walt Disney World restaurants. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Everything here was perfect, from the service to the dessert, and especially the location and view. For appetizers, I had the BLT Flatbread, and my boyfriend had the Hearts of Romaine Salad. We both were very pleased. I loved the BLT Flatbread! There was a lot of lettuce (I scraped most of it off because I don't care for it much,) but the lemon mayo was really good. For entrees, I had the pan-seared dayboat scallops, and my boyfriend had the bone-in rib-eye. Once again, we were both very happy with our dishes. My scallops weren't raw like they were at Fulton's Crab House. After we finished our main course the Magic Kingdom fireworks began, so they held off on our desserts until we came back in. The view of the fireworks from the restaurant and just outside is great. Once we came back in they brought us our desserts. I had the Honey Crunch Cake. It was delicious! It was in a yummy peach gelee with nectarines and mangos. So good! My boyfriend had the blueberry tart. It was really good, too. Our bill came to about $150.00 We had a fabulous dinner here, and we'll definitely be back next time we're at Walt Disney World!
