We have been to this location several times. Previously, the wait, service and food have been very good. That is until our most recent visit of January 10, 2008. Bahama Breeze has a call ahead feature. We have used it in the past very satisfactorily. We had a group of 6 and when called, was advised that we were put on the list. We arrived within their time parameters and advised that there would be a 30 minute wait. Several groups of 5, 6, 7 and 8 were also arriving and placing there name on the wait list. After what we believed to be 30 minutes, and after seeing that the other groups had been seated, an individual in our group inquired about the wait. She was promptly scolded and told it had only been 19 minutes. We were then told it would be another 15 minutes for wait. After one hour of further waiting and indicating that if we could not be seated, we were leaving, they immediately seated us. We ordered coctails, and the tastones, minus the chicken. They arrived with chicken and were refused. They then brought tastones with uncooked spinach and raw vegetables, the worst we have experienced. The salmon tostado salads we ordered were tastless and unappealling. Not sure if this was just a bad night for them or whether they need to re-evaluate the staff and move towards reinvention to standards of previous times. This dining experience lasted approximately 3 hours, much longer than was desired. If this will be the norm for this restaurant, there are plenty of competitors to choose from in the Orlando area.
