Golden Corral Buffet & Grill, Orlando

My family and I went to this place because the Golden Corral in our local area (Sacramento) was pretty decent. What a shock when we went into this one. Dirty, disgusting, noisy, cramped, and the food was bad too! It is no secret that this Corral is frequented by unsuspecting tourists, who know no better. If I were a local I would stay away from this place. I want to warn you if you are reading this review and are visiting, try another restaurant, and avoid this heartache.

We visited this Golden Corral while at Universal Studios. What a dump! The food was not fresh (what there was of it!). The bakery shelves and the dessert table were totally empty. The staff was unfriendly and the place was not clean. We paid for our meal, had our drinks and left. We will probably not take a chance on Golden Corrals while traveling again.

I dissagree! The food is great and the pricing is great!

My husband and I always enjoy Golden Corral, At least until we went to this one. As we walked in, the mgr? told us we were too late for breakfast. We told him lunch was fine, we just wanted something to eat. He was very rude. Breakfast was still on the buffet but since we paid for lunch, we decided to wait for them to bring out the lunch food. After 10 or 15 minutes, they removed the breakfast food but never brought out anything for the lunch buffet. Our waiter, who was very friendly and attentive, checked to see when the lunch food would be brought out and came back to tell us that was all the food they were going to put out. There was dried up taco meat that was there during breakfast and some watery spagetti, The rest of the buffet was empty.We paid $15 and all we ended up with was 2 drinks. When I mentioned to the mgr that there was nothing to eat, he said that was not his problem. I asked for a refund less the price of the drinks and he refused. I would NEVER go back there again.It is a shame that a place like that is called Golden Corral. Every other Golden Corral we have gone to has been very good. I also noticed that the waiters were cleaning the restrooms while waiting on customers as mentioned in an earlier review. I agree, not very appetizing! What a dump!!

salad bar is fresh, other selecions can be left out beyond prime, price is deceiving drinks are extra, no steak at lunch, on the other hand he sherriff and employees were eating at this location, but for vacation go someplace else

The food was NASTY and the place was poorly kept. I end up getting sick had upset stomach. Food was so nasty neither me nor my hubby could eat it. Save your money go somewhere else its not worth it.

Me and family travel to orlando during the month of august got in that sunday afternoon and wanted some great food we went into the golden corral it was sunday so it was full the lines moveed fast when we sat the waitress was great she brought us over about 20 plates the food was the best we ate so much me being acook by tread know good food and all my family know good food and they all say it was good it was so good that we went back to eat a second time befor we left i give the golden corral atriple a can not wait till august 2008 tocome back karen williams nassau bahamas

Both the breakfast and evening dinner choices were very, very good there were plenty of choices, the food was excellent and well cooked, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. I would not hesitate to reccomend this place to anyone
