My mother and I went in late on a Friday night and the place was packed, but we went in anyway. When we went in, there were absolutely no tables for anyone is groups of less than 4 or 5. We finally seat ourselves and place our seat reservation cards. When we leave to get food and come back, my mother's drink is missing and the waiter tells us we have to move because another larger group that came in after us wanted the table. They supposedly had more people coming. We were forcibly moved to another table. I demanded another glass for my mother. We continued to get poor service and rude waiters. Several other large groups came in and got A-1 service, but another small group like us basically went ignored. In fact we ended up giving them our condiments, because the table they were seated at had none. It turns out that group we got moved for had family members working there. They came out from back and started eating off their family members plates and stuff while still on duty, and no other people ever came to fill up the table we were moved from. Basically unless youre related to someone that works there or come in a group of 8 or more you're going to get lousy service.
i absolutely loved the resturant and i would go back there when i go to florida again. it was the best resturant i have ever been to in my life. the food was delicious and the waiter that we had was great. me and my family went twice there thats how good it was. i dont usually eat that much food on the time i went but i ate so much because it was so good. i would recomend everyone who goes to florida to try this resturant for themselves. they will love it.
In my opinion, Golden Corral is the best place to eat in Orlando. If your picky like me you'll love it. The food is delicious and it has a vast selection of starters, main course and desserts, the staff are really friendly and the price won't burn a hole in your pocket. I've gone to Orlando 6 times now with my family and we all love the Golden Corral. Can't wait until June 2007 when we're going again. Top Rate!
a family favorite. we only get to eat here when we visit orlando. we used to have them here by us but they closed. what can i say about the GC? well, anything and i mean ANYTHING is on their buffet. at reasonable prices too! if you dont leave feeling full then you have a hole in your stomach that needs to be fixed! lol
there is something for everyone here and even my most finikiest eaters my boys find what they want and fill up!!!
the staff were friendly and helpful, they made my bithday meal very special with the birthday song with banging trays.thank you.
We mainly ate at night after a full day shopping or seeing the attractions.well worth a try for all that don't require candle light peace and quiet.
