Sushi House Orlando
By Veronica, 2/27/13
Madebirthday reservations online, arrived early - table was ready. Resturant had a very pleasant atmosphere (clean & everyone was friendly). Sake 101 class was in session - everyone seemed to be having a great time. We loved the photo-menu! Choose 4 different rolls from the menu, all were delicious! Serve brought out a complimentary birthday dessert w a candle and sang a birthday song for my friend. After the Sake class, the Owner, Dun greeted us at the table and ask if we needed anything and how everything was for the eveing. Friendly, humble and passionate guy! He was excited about a new item TUNA TACOS, he had the chefs make tacos for our table, it was outstanding! Great food, people and place to enjoy with anyone. We found our new sushi joint!

Great Visit at sushi house: wow!!.. is all I can say for Sushi House. The food was great, everyone who comes to Sushi House must try their Sunfire roll. Touted as the city's best Japanese sushi restaurant, Sushi House sits in slightly the Orange Blossom Trail entrance to the Florida Mall, an area known for its shopping, the heart of transportation, and occasionally unsavory clientele. With tiled floors, grey and red walls, and a giant movie wall, Sushi House is the place for a modern and traditional sushi, whose menu includes such gems as the Red Dragon spicy tuna roll topped with yellowfin tuna. There are long lists of hot and chilled sake and wines, ranging from reasonable to pricey. The bento boxes, which are full of flavor feature chicken and beef and are a favorite with the lunchtime crowd. All I have to say is the food was great and i had wonderful service. Our server was very nice and the sashimi was great! I love this place!

Excellent! I came here for lunch time and it was great. Came here with the family. I was expecting great service and great food, and we were not disappointed. The environment is great and it's a restaurant where you can sit and relax. We also ordered a bento box. The tempura was awesome. It was perfect. The sushi we ordered also was right on. It was a very nice and friendly experience. I can see why this was called the best sushi in Orlando. I will definitely go back. If you want real good Japanese food and awesome sushi, this is the place. Sushi house gave us a very good impression and the food was fantastic. The price is also better than you would expect. It was just great time overall.

Best sushi in Central Florida! The Crazy & Emporer rolls were wonderful! Chicken Beno Box was a hit too. Awesome little out of the way place. Close to the hustle and bussle of downtown and Disney but without the lines, wait and noise. Very easy on the wallet. I will be coming back every time I'm in Orlando!!!

Best sushi you can get in Orlando. A little nice place for out of town and locals. The fusion rolls are the best. A must try.

Sushi is really hit or miss when going to a place you're not familiar with. Most places have the same menu, with the same 10 or so rolls. I read the reviews for Sushi House on a few websites before deciding that it sounded like a place I wanted to try. I'm travelling for business and have never been a fan of eating alone, so atmosphere was important to me as well. When I walked in I was immediately greeted with warm smiles and hellos from not only the waitresses, but the sushi chefs. I made my way to the sushi bar, it was small but nice. When I was handed the extensive menu I was very surprised. There were so many rolls I had never heard of that I was literally looking over the menu for a good 5 minutes. One of the sushi chefs asked me what I typically like. I told him spicy! Without hesitation he started to describe a roll to me with spicy tuna on the inside, tuna and avocado on the outside, then each piece was topped with a jalapeno slice and masago. I was sold. I also ordered a spicy baby octopus salad. The waitresses were all very friendly and accomdating. The sushi and the salad were both wonderful, and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. The prices are very reasonably considering the amounts they give you... the rolls are huge! Definately a place I will not only recommend, but visit again the next time I'm up this way!

For us it was more coincidence that we found this sushi place after accessing wifi at the starbucks across the street an being very hungry. We have been sushi-addicts for a couple of years now and not many sushi restaurants have met our standards since, but this place really rocks. It was so good that we traveled there from Winter Haven (~45 miles one way) twice within 24h. Everything was perfect, the taste, the composition and the presentation. The staff was very friendly and the talk with the chef very informative. The surprise the first evening was an eel roll with banana. I would have never thought that it would taste so good. Over all an incredible experience and for sure we will come again every time we hit the Orlando area. Thanks for all.
